Section 7(1) in Vegetable Oils Grading and Marking Rules, 1955
(1)The grade designation mark shall be securely affixed to each container in a manner approved by the Agricultural Marketing Adviser. In addition to the grade designation mark, the following particulars shall also be clearly and indelibly marked on each container:-(a)Name of packer.(b)Place of packing (business address)(c)Tank filling No.(d)Date of packing in plain letters.*(e)Net weight /volume (wherever applicable)Note* : the date of packing shall be the date of completion of analysis of the sample.
