Section 11(1) in Gujarat Panchayats (Amendment) Act, 1965
(1)after sub-section (3) the following sub-section (3A) shall be and shall be deemed always to have been inserted, namely:-"(3A) The President of the panchayat shall be paid a conveyance allowance or permanent travelling allowance or both at such rates and upon such conditions as the State Government may by order determine from time to time and any such order may be made so as to be retrospective to any date not earlier than the 1st April, 1963;",
