                       provisional selection list dated 31.03.2022 to the Adi-dravida, Tribal

                                                          ORDER

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition has been taken up for final disposal.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to perform their duty/obligation and thereby consider the representation dated 03.08.2022 and to give effect to the order dated 09.01.2020 in W.P.No.34099 of 2019 batch and appoint the petitioner as a PG Assistant for the Chemistry subject as per the revised provisional Page 2 of 6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.21906 of 2022 selection list dated 31.03.2022 to the Adi-dravida, Tribal Welfare Department.

3. The petitioner had participated in the written examination conducted by the third respondent for the post of P.G.Assistant (Chemistry) on 28.09.2019 and secured 83 marks out of 150 and she was called for certificate verification on 09.11.2019. On 20.11.2019, the third respondent published the provisional selection list, wherein, the petitioner was not selected. Since the selection process was not followed according to the procedures as contemplated in the notification, affected candidates filed W.P.34099 of 2019 etc. batch, in which this Court has given some direction. The Writ Appeal and the Review filed by the respondents were also negatived. Thereafter, a revised provisional selection list was published on 31.03.2022, wherein, the petitioner's name finds place in Sl.No.4. But, till date, no appointment order issued. Hence the writ petition.

The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner was selected for the post of Page 3 of 6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.21906 of 2022 P.G.Assistant (Chemistry) under the Adi-dravida, Tribal Welfare Department and the same was forwarded to the second respondent for issuing appointment orders. He further submitted that after following necessary procedures, the user Department, namely the Educational Department, will issue appointment order to the petitioner at an earliest.

5. Recording the above statement made by the learned Additional Advocate General, this Writ petition is disposed of . No costs.
