(l)[ `teacher' means a professor, a reader, a lecturer, imparting instruction or giving training or guidance in research in the University, a University college, an affiliated college or a recognised institution, or any other person declared or recognised to be a teacher by the Statutes;] [This clause was substituted for the original by Bombay 52 of 1950, Section 2 (d).]
