Ambikesh Mahapatra & Anr.

- vs.-

The State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya Mr. Samim Ahammed Mr. Vishak Bhattacharya Ms. Ruchira Chatterjee Mr. Mrinal Ranjan Pramanik.

....For the Petitioners.

Mr. Abhrotosh Majumdar Mr. Soumitra Mukherjee.

....For the State.

Mr. Majumder, learned advocate for the State has reported that Mr. Bimal Chatterjee, learned Advocate General has been hospitalized. He prays for an adjournment till after the vacation.

Mr. Bhattacharya, learned senior advocate representing the petitioners submits that the writ petition has been heard at substantial length by this Bench. He expresses apprehension that with the likelihood of a change in determination after the ensuing vacation, further adjournment of hearing at this stage and the apprehension turning to reality would immensely prejudice the petitioners.

At this stage, Mr. Majumder submits that he would have no objection if the writ petition is treated as heard-in-part.

It appears from the order dated 13.03.2014 that the writ petition is already heard-in-part.

Be that as it may, let the writ petition be listed as 'Part Heard' matter after the vacation.
