Section 6(1)(j) in UGC Regulations on Curbing The Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009

(j)The institution shall request the media to give adequate publicity to the law prohibiting ragging and the negative aspects of ragging and the institution's resolve to ban ragging and punish those found guilty without fear or favour.
