Section 269(2) in The Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961
(2)Any article seized under sub-section (1) which is of a perishable nature may, under the order of the President, Chief Municipal Officer or Municipal Health Officer, forthwith be destroyed. Every animal and every article which is not of perishable nature, if seized as aforesaid, shall be taken before a Magistrate.
