Section 24(1) in The Punjab Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Rules, 2012
(1)The State Government may by order establish a State Council for the Senior Citizen to advise the State Government for effective implementation of the act and to perform such other function in relation to Senior Citizen as the State Government may specify.
