Section 12(2) in The Sikh Gurdwaras Committee Election Rules, 1959
(2)The returning officer may allow withdrawal of candidature not less then ten days previous to the date of the commencement of the poll if the number of remaining candidates is equal to the number of member or members to be elected from the constituency.
