Section 560 in The Orissa Municipal Corporation Act, 2003
560. Closure and disposal of markets and slaughter-houses.
- The Commissioner may, where the Corporation markets and slaughter houses are situated within the city, with the sanction of the Corporation, and where it is situated outside the city, with the sanction of the Government, at any time, close such market or slaughter house, and may dispose o the premises so closed, subject to the sanction of the Corporation, where the property is of the Corporation.
