Section 36(1) in New Town, Kolkata Development Authority Act, 2007
(1)The Development Authority may with the previous sanction of the State Government, levy a charge to be called amenity charge, for providing such amenity to the whole or any part of the area of New Town, Kolkata and at such rate, as may be approved by the State Government.
