Section 57(vi) in Code of Regulations for Anglo-Indian Schools-Tamil Nadu State
(vi)In the case of a pupil who has been a candidate for a Public Examination, the results of which are not published before the beginning of the school year, the seventh day after the results of their examinations are published in the locality shall be counted as the first working day of the term so far as the grant of a transfer certificate to him is concerned.
