Section 273(1) in The Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats And Industrial Townships Act, 1965
(1)It shall be lawful for the Council to lease by public auction or by inviting tenders or by private contract the collecting of any stallages, rents or fees which may be imposed under sub-section (1) of the last preceding section after obtaining adequate security from the lessee for the due fulfilment of the conditions of the lease.
