(1)The Executive Council shall hold, control and administer the property and funds of the University and shall appoint a Finance Committee to advise it on matters of finance consisting of six members of whom the Vice-Chancellor shall be the Chairman, the Finance Officer shall be the Secretary and the other four members shall be appointed as follows:(i)Two members to be elected by the Executive Council from among its members, and(ii)Two members to be nominated by the State Government one from the Finance Department and the other from the Education Department of the State Government.
