290. Routes for removal of corpses.
(1)The Commissioner may, by public notice, prescribe routes for the removal of corpses to burial or burning places.(2)Whoever carries a corpse along a route prohibited by the Commissioner or in a manner likely to cause annoyance to the public, shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one month, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both.Part-VI Lands, Buildings and Streets
