ORDER
The instant contempt petitions have been filed alleging violation of the orders of this Court dated 23.11.2023 14.12.2023 13.12.2023 18.12.2023 and 22.12.2023 made in Writ Petition(MD)Nos.30883, 30885, 30887, 27509, 30886, 30971, 29594, 29595, 29571, 29991 of 2023, wherein this Court has directed the parties to release the arrears of salary from the date of their approval.
2. Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the contemnors herein produced G.O.(D)No.290 dated 31.12.2024, wherein the Government has sanctioned a sum of Rs.11,71,20,835/- towards the salary of arrears of ten (10) contempt petitioners and there is also a direction to the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Chennai, to disburse the amount.
3. In view of the above Government order dated 31.12.2024, these Contempt Petitions are closed, with liberty to the petitioners to revive the 12/14 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Cont.P.(MD)Nos.976 of 2024 etc. said contempt petition, if in case the orders have not been complied with. Consequently, connected Sub Applications are also closed.
