27. Penalty for granting quarrying lease in contravention of these rules.
- If any private person grants a quarrying lease in contravention of any of the provisions of this Chapter or accepts any premium in contravention of rule 25, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to three months or with fine which may extend to Rs. 1,000 or with both and the lease so granted shall be void.
