Section 3 in Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education Act, 1992
3. Establishment of Council for Higher Education.
(1)There shall be established a Council by the name "the Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education".(2)The Council shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued by the said name.(3)The headquarters of the Council shall be located at Chennai.
