Section 1 in The Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956.(2)It extends to the whole of Chhattisgarh.(3)It shall apply to the larger urban areas with effect from the date on which they are notified as such under Section 7.
