Section 5(2) in The Khadi And Village Industries Commission Employees (Pension) Regulations, 1984
(2)The day on which an employee of the Commission retires or is retired or is discharged or is allowed to resign from service, as the case may be, shall be treated as his last working day. The date of death shall also be treated as a working day :Provided that in the case of an employee of the Commission who is retired prematurely or who retires voluntarily under clause (d) of sub-regulation (3) of regulation 5 of the Khadi and. Village Industries Commission Regulations. 1958, the date of retirement shall be treated as non-working day.
