(1)Where is exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 48, he Highway Authority desired to close down any highly or part thereof, permanently, it shall give notice of its intention to do so by notification in the officials Gazette. The notification shall also be published in atleast two newspapers, one of which shall be in Hindi language.
