Section 34(2) in The Maharashtra Public Conveyance Act, 1920
(2)The Commissioner of Police shall cause such property to be returned to such person as shall prove o his satisfaction that he is entitled to the same, on payment by such person of all expenses reasonably incurred and of such compensation to the driver of the public conveyance as the Commissioner of Police may consider just.
