Section 1 in The Punjab Water Prevention and Control of Pollution Rules, 1977
1. Short title and commencement.
(1)These rules may be called the [Punjab Water Prevention and Control of Pollution Rules, 1977.] [Substituted for the words 'Punjab State Board for the Prevention and Control of Water Pollution Rules, 1977' vide Punjab Government Notification No. 8/25/89-STE(5)/2476, dated 27th November, 1998.](2)They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
