RTI Application:

1. The   complainant   filed   RTI   application   dated   16.12.2013   seeking   complete  information   together   with   documents/correspondence/   file­notings   relating   to   news­item  'Savage' fund cut by ex­Finance Minister and copies of all   letters written by the Union  Minister for Rural Development Shri Jairam Ramesh  (probably in November 2013) to   the  Hon'ble  Prime  Minister  and  Union  Finance   Minister   against  proposed  cuts   of  over  Rs. 

20,000   crores   in   spending   on   popular   flagship­schemes   like   those   for   employment  guarantee, rural housing, villages­roads and the livelihood mission etc., together with related  file­notings/ documents/correspondence etc. 

2. CPIO responded on 17.1.2014.   The complainant filed a complaint dated 21.4.2014  with the Commission. 

Hearing:

3. Both the parties participated in the hearing personally.

4. The complainant referred to his RTI application dated 16.12.2013 and stated that the  respondent has not provided any information to him.

5. The respondent  stated  that they have provided all the information containing  20  pages to the complainant on 14.7.2014.

6. The complainant stated that he has not received letter dated 14.7.2014.

7. During   the   hearing   the   respondent   was   provided   20   pages   information   that   had  already been sent earlier to the complainant.  Discussion/Observation:

8. The respondent has taken appropriate action.  Decision:

9. No intervention by the Commission is required.

The complaint is disposed of. Copy of the decision be given free of cost to the  parties.
