Section 2(u) in Adichunchanagiri University Act, 2012
(u)"Teacher" means and includes a Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, or such other person as may be appointed for imparting instruction or conducting or to guide research in the University or in a Constituent College and includes the Principal of Constituent College in conformity with the norms specified by the 'University Grants Commission;
