Section 13(4)(i) in The Rajasthan Colonisation (Chambal Project Government Lands Allotment and Sale) Rules, 1957

(i)A joint family shall, for purposes of existing holdings or for allotment of land under these rules be deemed to be one person and dealt with accordingly.
