Section 41(1) in The East Punjab Holdings (Consolidation and Prevention of Fragmentation) Act, 1948
(1)The [State] [Substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government may for the administration of this Act, appoint such persons as it thinks fit, and may by notification delegate any of its powers or functions under this Act to any of its officers either by name or designation.
