(1)The Deans of the University shall be appointed by the Director, with the approval of the Chairman of the Board, from amongst the faculty members of the University.(2)The Dean shall assist the Director in managing the academic and other affairs of the University and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed by the Regulations or to be delegated to them by the Director.
