Section 57D(2) in The Gujarat Tenancy and Agricultural Lands (Vidarbha Region and Kutch) Area Act, 1958
(2)The right to purchase land under sub-section (1) shall be exercised within one year from the date on which possession of the land is obtained by the landlord in pursuance of the provisions of Section 57B; or as the case may be, from the date of the expiry of the period referred to in the proviso to sub-section (2) of Section 57B; and intimation of exercise of the right shall be sent to the landlord and the Tribunal in the prescribed manner within the period aforesaid.
