In the present writ petition, the petitioners are claiming the promotional increment after 23 years of service.
Notice of motion.
On the asking of the Court, Ms. Deepali Puri Sandhu, learned Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the PSPCL.
Even though the claim of the petitioners was rejected on 21.06.2018/09.07.2018 (Annexure P-16 (Colly)) but subsequently a Coordinate Bench, while deciding CWP No. 1013 of 2017, titled as Balvir Singh Vs. PSPCL and another, decided on 29.11.2018, disposed of the writ petition giving directions to decide the cases of the grant of promotional increment after 23 years of service afresh in view of the new Resolution, which has been passed by the respondents themselves, dated 20.09.2018.
Subsequent to the said order i.e. annexed as Annexure P-17 with this petition, similar writ petitions were disposed of by this Court on 19.12.2018 (CWP-24407-2018, titled as Malkiat Singh Vs. PSPCL).
The present writ petition is disposed of in terms of the order passed by a Coordinate Bench in CWP-1013-2017.
