Section 7(5) in The U.P. Village Forests Joint Management Rules, 1997
(5)The Divisional Committee shall,-(a)examine and approve the Microplan for a Village Forest;(b)supervise and monitor the works of Village Committees and Range Committees;(c)perform such other functions as may be directed by the Divisional Forest Officer and the State Government.
