Section 100(2) in Rules under the United Provinces Excise Act, 1910
(2)Such number of Excise Inspectors, Excise Clerks and Excise Constables will be allotted under the jurisdiction of the Superintendent of Excise as are needed by local requirements. The staff will be directly under the control of the Superintendent of Excise.
