(2)The Executive Council may also by an order in writing made in his behalf remove any person from the membership of any authority of the University of he becomes of unsound mind or [ deaf mute or suffers from leprosy; Omited by Tamil Nadu Universities Laws (Third Amendment) Act, 2022] or has applied to be adjudicated or has been adjudicated as an insolvent.
