Section 15(2) in The Haryana Private Universities, 2006
(2)The Visitor shall have the following powers, namely:-(a)when present, he shall preside over the convocation of the university for conferring degrees and diplomas ;(b)to call for any paper or information relating to the affairs of the university; and(c)on the basis of the information received under clause (b), if he is satisfied that any order, proceeding, or decision taken by any authority of the university is not in conformity with the provisions of this Act, Statutes, Ordinances, Regulations or Rules, he may issue such directions as he may deem fit in the interest of the university and the directions so issued shall be complied with by the university.
