Section 8(1) in Punjab Water Resources (Management and Regulation) Act, 2020
(1)The Government may appoint a serving or retired officer who has worked on a post equivalent to the rank of Special Secretary to the Government of Punjab or higher, as Secretary of the Authority to exercise such powers and perform such functions, as may be provided by the regulations:
