Section 67 in The Central Reserve Police Force Rules, 1955
67. Head Constables .-Promotions to the rank of Head Constable shall be made by the Commandant according to seniority from the List C referred to in rule 62 subject to the general provisions of rule 55 on the recommendations of Company Commanders. The requisite qualification for such promotions are the passing of the Senior Cadre Course and the possession of the Second Class Certificate of Education [or a matriculation or equivalent or higher academic qualification certificate.] [Inserted by G.S.R. 1006, dated 6.11.1986. ]
