Section 24(2) in Jammu and Kashmir Juvenile Justice Act, 1997
(2)If a juvenile is accused of an offence for which under section 239 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, Samvat 1989, or in any other law for the time being in force, such juveniles and any person who is not juvenile would, but for the prohibition contained in sub-section (1), have been charged and tried together, the Court taking cognizance of that offence shall direct separate trials of the juvenile and the other person.
