1. Short title.
- This Act may be called [the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act] [This short title was substituted for the short title 'the Bombay Village Panchayats Act, 1958' by Maharashtra 24 of 2012, schedule entry No. 74, (w.r.e.f. 1-5-1960).].
