Section 24(2) in Punjab Market Committees Bye-laws
(2)The secretary may assign to the employees of the Committee apart from their regular duties, such other duties, as he may consider necessary for the discharge of official duties and shall see that the employees under him perform their duties properly and efficiently. he may report to the Chairman that action is called for against any of the employees of the Committee on the ground stated in the report. Provided that an opportunity shall be afforded to the employee concerned before the action is taken against him.
