In administering oaths and affirmations to deponents, the Commissioner shall be guided by the provisions of the Indian Oaths Act, Act X of 1873. Christian deponents shall be sworn on the New Testament. The following forms are to be used -OathI swear that this my declaration is true, that it conceals nothing, and that no part of it is false. So help me God.AffirmationI solemnly declare that this my declaration is true, that it conceals nothing and that no part of it is false.
