Section 244(b) in Criminal Court Rules of the High Court of Judicature at Patna
(b)As the Courts of [Executive] [Substituted by C.S. No. 83.] Magistrates are inspected by District Magistrates and Divisional Commissioners-officers whose attention is directed in the main to such detail as the maintenance of the registers, and the state of the offices visited-the Sessions Judge should not occupy himself with those matters.
