ORDER
1. From the date of the last hearing till today there is not much progress.
2. Though the Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment (Respondent No.4) had filed their report, it only states that the 2nd Respondent/Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and 6th Respondent/Bangalore Water Supply and Sewage Board (BWSSB) are in communication with the Forest Department and are in the process of submitting the suitable DPR.
3. There is already an interim order operating against the BBMP and BWSSB which would continue until further orders.
4. In the meanwhile, the BBMP and BWSSB are directed to file their reports along with photographs and sketch, explaining the distance between the Raja Kaluve, the lake and where the sewage line is situated. The report should also include the width of the Raja Kaluve, the carrying capacity of the Raja Kaluve as well as humepipes which are now being laid for better appreciation of the case.
5. Post the matter on 29.07.2024.
