Facts :-
Heard today dated 04.03.2011. Appellant not present. The HPCL is represented by Shri R.K. Tewari, Sr. RM, Lucknow.
2. It is noticed that vide RTI application dated nil, the appellant had sought copies of the Consumer Register in respect of Sidharth Gas Service of Umri Jalaun Town. The CPIO had refused to disclose information vide letter dated 31.12.2009 on the ground that it was confidential information. On appeal, the Appellate Authority vide letter dated 10.2.2010 had directed the CPIO to follow the procedure prescribed under section 11(1). During the hearing, Shri Tewari submits that the process of issuing notices to third parties has been initiated but as hundreds of consumers are involved, it is likely to take considerable time.
3. As noted above, the CPIO is in the process of implementing the order of the first Appellate Authority. Hence, the appeal filed before this Commission is premature. The CPIO is hereby directed to implement the Appellate Authority's order in 04 months time.
