48 10-04-2019In the light of this Court's order, dated 13.03.2019, Patna High Court CWJC No.4759 of 2013(48) dt.10-04-2019 3/4 further affidavits have been filed on behalf of Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Principal Secretary, Health Department, Government of Bihar, Principal, Patna Medical College and Hospital, Patna (PMCH) and Principal, Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital, Darbhanga (DMCH).
It transpires from the said affidavits that in respect of grant of recognition of Diploma Course in Anesthesiology (D.A.) in DMCH, response has already been sent to the Medical Council of India (MCI) responding to the deficiencies earlier pointed out by the MCI.
In respect of Diploma Course in Otorhinolaryngology (DLO) in PMCH, it has been stated in the aforesaid affidavit filed on behalf of the Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Principal Secretary, Health, that the Under Secretary, Health Department, Government of Bihar, in order to ensure installation of BERA (Brain Stem Evoked Response Audiometry) machine, Nerve Conduction Machine and EMG, the BMSICL has been consulted and the BMSICL has furnished a detailed action plan in time bound manner. As per the said action plan, said equipments shall be procured and installed by 30.06.2019.
This Court will consider this aspect of the matter on 01.07.2019.
Patna High Court CWJC No.4759 of 2013(48) dt.10-04-2019 4/4 In respect of grant of recognition for Diploma in Tuberculosis & Chest Disease (DTCD), learned counsel appearing on behalf of the MCI informs that final decision is likely to be taken soon in the next meeting of the Board of Governors.
List this matter on 15.05.2019 for the MCI to inform the development, in the meanwhile, in respect of DTCD course in PMCH and DA course DMCH.
