Section 227 in Andhra Pradesh Rules Under the Registration Act, 1908
227. Verification by the registering officer
The details of the registration checkslip and the receipt shall be verified by the registering officer with reference to the original document to satisfy himself as to the-compliance with the Act, rules and the standing orders and the adequacy of the stamp duty paid.
