Section 6(2)(b) in The Newspaper (Price And Page) Act, 1956

(b)furnishes or causes to be furnished to the Press Registrar any weekly returns or statistics which he has reason to believe to be false, he shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees.
