This revision petition has been filed by the tenant challenging judgment dated 23.01.2019 passed by the learned Appellate Authority, Chandigarh whereby appeal filed by the respondent-landlord against order dated 01.02.2018 passed by the learned Rent Controller, Chandigarh was allowed and ejectment of the petitioner-tenant from the demised premises was ordered.
Following order had been passed on the last date of hearing:-
"Learned counsel for the respondent/caveator submits that this 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 08-12-2019 10:19:57 ::: CR No.3947 of 2019(O&M) [2] petition has been rendered infructuous as possession of the demised property has been restored to the respondent-landlord in execution proceedings.
Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for some time to seek instructions.
Adjourned to 26.11.2019"
Today, despite the matter being called twice, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing the matter.
Revision petition is, accordingly, dismissed in default.
