Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail to accused petitioner- Kulwinder Singh in case FIR No.5 dated 30.1.2016 under Sections 307,353,186,332,341,148,149/120-B IPC, PS Jhunir,District Mansa.
SHO/SI Jaskaran Singh came on the road at the site of an accident between a motor cycle and the vehicle of a liquor contractor. The villagers of the Village Mofar were agitating and tried to cause injury to the liquor contractor. The police party tried to restrain the crowd of 60-70 people, which was, inter alia,led by the present accused and he alongwith co-accused Amrit Pal also inflicted blows on the head and chest of the complainant apart from tearing off the dress of Constable Rajinder Singh. Counsel for the petitioner heard.
Keeping in view the nature and manner of commission of crime,which are on the rise, no indulgence can be shown by the granting/extending the benefit of anticipatory bail to the present petitioner.
Dismissed.
