Section 1 in Tamil Nadu Handloom Workers (Conditions of Employment and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1981
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Handloom Workers (Conditions of Employment and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1981.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu.(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [Enforced on 12.3.1982.] as the Government may, by notification, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different areas and for different provisions of this Act.
