Section 75(1) in Presidency-Towns Insolvency Act, 1909
(1)Subject to such conditions and limitations as may be prescribed, the official assignee may appoint the insolvent himself to superintend the management of the property of the insolvent or of any part thereof, or to carry on the trade (if any) of the insolvent,
